So I was a little on the fence buying any TS merch this year because prices are ridiculously high compared to previous years, but I figured why not and I caved...and I’m so glad I did.
This cropped sweater with destructed seams definitely ranks in at one of my best purchases yet.
It’s soft, it’s comfortable, and it fits true to size. I usually wear a Small but ordered a size up to give the sweater a more loose-fitted look and also wanted to avoid any possible shrinkage during the first few washes, and I’m glad with my decision. The sleeves run a little past the length of my hands, but it’s no problem rolling them up.
I love the olive green color of the material and the words “REP” and “Taylor Swift” are etched into the sweater not just once, but multiple times. Because you know, the girls gotta get her point across.
This sweater is so totally Taylor and (lowkey) I’m happy she has stepped up her merch game from previous years because basic concert tees and light up wands just weren’t gonna cut it anymore.
This is the type of sweater that if you were told you could only wear one thing for the rest of your life, it would come in on top or at least close to it when making your decision.
It’s the perfect cropped sweater. You can run into trouble buying sweaters that state they are a “cropped” cut because they sometimes ending up being too short for your liking, fit awkwardly on your body type or actually run pretty long, ixnaying the “cropped” part, making it technically a regular length sweater.
It hits at the perfect length and is great to pair with high waisted jeans and some sandals, as seen below.
Sweater: Taylor Swift Store
Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: Target (no longer available, similar here)
I went for a cool and casual look, pairing the already baggy sweater with loose-fitted boyfriend jeans. It felt comfortable while looking comfortable, but also gave the appearance that I did put some effort into it.
